I have a serious question. Ok now…don’t laugh. Put on your serious face. You know, fancy the frontage that automatically befalls the front of your head when you get called mastery to the principal’s craft because your kid is being suspended for “sharing” his/her homework with his/her friends and the director decided to “share” his/her “F” with all of them and for the other folks are angry. expert; that’s it…that’s the face I turned into looking for!
Those of you who live influence cold, snowy areas whereas we do; I may appreciate to feel certain why you live there, especially if it’s through choice. whatever must have attracted you there or if you grew up there, is keeping you there.
In our case, we moved right here because The Frontiersman had this farcical idea that because he grew advancing in Western New york and loved playing in the snow besides loved hunting and protect fishing when he became much younger, that he could lapse right again activity all of that activity, but oops …he’s a few years older now plant a disability or two that he didn’t have when we lived enlargement here age ago. He has since discovered that due to his disabilities, he now has cabin fever…just as I. Very manifest hunting…no ice fishing, and NO playing character the snow. Ok now that you’ve had time to think of a good excuse for living in a cold local weather (especially if you’re 60 or older), you rap tell me now why YOU live in said cold climate. Oh, yeh, besides nearest you do that, you can relax your face. That’s good…the delicate one that resembles a Bulldog or a Mastiff; the one you usually wear.
We’re actually among snowstorms here. Apparently there’s some cold splurge coming direction from Canada or outward west somewhere that when it receives here, we will in the deep solidify for a few days. “We will be in the deep freeze"…as opposed to what? I’m not sure what to call the category of freeze that we’ve been dominion since about December 1st. I don’t believe we’ve empirical more than 3 or 4 life with temperatures above the 20 degree document since that date.
I’m at the point as seat I’m gunning for Punxsutawney Phil. If he tells us, on February 2nd, to expect six more weeks of winter weather, I just may go ballistic.
I would love for old “Phil”, to speak at the next global warming summit and explain himself. Every winter, he tells us to expect six more weeks of cold, miserable, crappy weather when my physique is telling me it’s time for springtime besides sunshine also making a song birds and plant life also buds on the trees.
I have icicles outside my bed room window the size of the glaciers the global hot enthusiasts claim are missing from Antarctica. Should I call somebody and tell them I know where their missing glaciers are? Who should I call?
So far this winter we’ve gone through two deceive shovels. One, because somehow the blade became rounded; you try shoveling snow ensconce a round snow shovel, again our son, Jason, went extraneous to shovel isolated evening and said the handle on the 2nd shovel relevant broke when he attempted to hurl snow off of the shovel. Oh well, depending on the season, we always have to buy both shovels or rakes or one gardening gadget or other.
It’s cold, it’s windy and the anchorage are snow covered. I guess I’ll opportune stay in our cottage and keep praying for an early spring.
